Day by Day Itinerary

On your arrival, you will be met by a member of our team who will receive you and transfer you to your hotel.

Check-in for your flight to Kisoro. Upon arrival, you will be transferred by road to your lodge, and you may decide to stay back and enjoy the lodge at leisure or opt for some optional activities around the lodge as below:

The Batwa pygmy cultural trail, Community / Nature walk:

You will get to know all the cultural details of the short men of the forest ranging from hunting, cultural dances & songs, herbal medicine knowledge, dressing to family setting and lineage.

It is a very interesting activity as you will have a chance to exchange cultural experience with the local people of the forest.

After an early breakfast, head to park gate for briefing at exactly 8:00 am. Gorilla habituation is a very captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi. Join the great team of rangers and researchers in the process of creating yet another family of the most unique apes (Gorillas).

It is a very big opportunity to learn about the secret life of the great apes. Get to know how they are tamed to be man-friendly and by the end of this most captivating activity (Gorilla habituation), you will be recognized as part of the team in the efforts to create a friendly relationship between man and the world’s most elusive giant apes.

In the morning after your breakfast, depending on your flight schedule you will spend a leisurely morning & later be transferred to the airstrip (Kisoro) for your domestic departure flight back to Entebbe.
